Information used by the website

• Student sign-in is currently unavailable. Notes, labs and practice quizzes can be used without an account. Administrative accounts and previously stored learner records can include names, email addresses and account identifiers.
• Course views, lab opens and quiz interactions can be recorded with the page, resource and time, and an account identifier if an existing session is present. Current public practice does not save new learner progress or award points or certificates. Previously stored learning records have not been deleted.
• If you email us, the mailbox receives your address, message and any attachments you choose to send.
• Hosting and other service providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser details and logs, to deliver and protect their services.

Why information is used

Information supports administrative access, existing records and certificate verification, replies to enquiries, troubleshooting and understanding which learning features are used. Public learning does not require an account.

Community and certificate visibility

The student dashboard and leaderboard are currently unavailable. Existing certificate verification links remain usable: anyone with a verification link or number can check its recipient name, course, issue date and status.

Cookies and browser storage

Administrative sign-in uses an authentication cookie. Existing account cookies or temporary login security cookies may also remain in your browser. The authentication cookie can last up to one year. Browser storage is also used for cached account details and learning or interface preferences, such as saved practice mistakes. Some preferences remain until overwritten or cleared.

You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser. This may sign you out or remove local preferences; it does not delete information already stored on the server. Contact us separately about server-held information.

Services and external links

The website is hosted on Hostinger. Administrative authentication, email services and Google Fonts process information needed for the features you use. Links to papers, videos, PDFs and other external resources lead to services with their own privacy practices. Published contributor names and affiliations are displayed as article credits.

Advertising

Google AdSense ownership verification is configured. The blog and PhD directory support advertising when the site's advertising setting is enabled; otherwise these pages show reserved spaces without loading Google's advertising script. Verification and reserved spaces alone do not mean advertisements are being served.

When advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may process technical information and use cookies based on visits to this and other websites, including for ad delivery, measurement and personalised advertising where permitted. Applicable consent controls must be configured before activation, including a Google-certified consent management platform for relevant visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. You can manage Google personalised-ad preferences through Google My Ad Center and read how Google uses information from partner sites.

Your choices and requests

Email either contact address to request access, correction or deletion of account information. Include the account email and the request; do not send your password. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account.

Retention and updates

Browser storage can be cleared using your browser settings. The application does not define a site-wide automatic deletion period for account and learning records. Contact us about removal of information associated with you, including questions about copies held in email or hosting backups.

We may update this notice when features or privacy practices change. The date above identifies the latest update. Advertising changes will be reflected in this notice before ads are enabled.
