About Pills & Python
Pharmacy education deserves interactions that make data meaningful.
Pills & Python translates computational ideas into pharmacy-specific learning experiences—dose-response, dissolution, pharmacovigilance, molecular descriptors, pharmacokinetics, and responsible AI.
The core philosophy
Learn pharmacy. Think with data. Build with Python. Understand AI.
Safety and transparency
The platform is educational. Its examples and simulations disclose their assumptions and do not give individual clinical, regulatory, or treatment advice.
What you can study here
Pills & Python brings pharmacy study material and computing skills together in one free place.
- B.Pharm notes organised by semester, subject and unit, with topic outlines, short definitions and downloadable PDFs where they are available.
- 7 courses with 35 units on Python, biostatistics, machine learning and AI in pharmacy.
- 45 interactive labs that run in your browser with nothing to install.
- Beginner guides to Python, AI and data science in pharmacy, plus articles and PhD opportunities.
Who it is for
The site is written for pharmacy students who want clear unit-by-unit material, and for anyone in pharmacy who is new to coding or AI. Teachers can use the labs as classroom discussion starters.
How the material is put together
- Notes and courses are organised around the PCI B.Pharm 2026 (NEP 2020) syllabus. Check that it matches your own university and batch.
- Labs use fictional or browser-generated teaching data, never patient records. The data and simulation provenance page lists the method, data and limits of each one.
- Python exercises run inside your browser, and the code you type is not sent to our server.
- Articles list their sources so you can check them yourself.
What this site is not
Pills & Python is a supplementary learning resource. It does not replace your university, textbooks or teachers, and nothing here is medical, clinical or regulatory advice.
